IFPA Australia New Zealand are pleased to announce
our second annual food safety summit.
Managing and assuring the safety of fresh produce is a critical issue for our industry, and IFPA is actively supporting members to address the ongoing challenges of meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
Any food safety incident involving fresh produce harms our industry – impacting consumer demand, reputations, and market access. To support our members to meet their food safety obligations, IFPA is again hosting a food safety summit.
The focus will be on how good science, a strong business culture, and leadership supports the industry to achieve it food safety goals. Featuring speakers from IFPA, Food Standards Australia New Zealand, and Safe Food Production Queensland.
The program will feature a series of keynote presentations, a question-and-answer panel, and a structured workshop session. Attendees will gain insights into the latest food safety challenges and strategies for addressing them; progress towards the introduction of the primary production and processing standards for berries, melons, and leafy vegetables; and explore how IFPA can assist you with your food safety issues.
