Win or Learn: Taking Risks, Pushing Boundaries, and Developing a Growth Mindset.
Chemmy Alcott, 4-time Winter Olympian and BBC Ski Sunday presenter, is still learning how to juggle the demands of being a business owner, ski race coach, tv presenter, speaker, and mum - including the value of self-care - in pursuit of true happiness. It all begins with ending the daily guilt we all have and feel about making time for ourselves, but she believes in the power of excellence over perfection, and is driven to continually evolve. She believes we never lose - we either win or we learn – and Chemmy will share her experiences overcoming adversity, from breaking over 40 bones, including her neck when she was 11 years old, to having to self-fund, and carve her own path to victory. Chemmy has succeeded in pushing her limits and working to eliminate the fear of failure, making it possible to pursue her goals and confidently take risks. As one of very few female skiers in a male-dominated sport, Chemmy has taught the next generation to embrace their femininity and be comfortable with themselves. You'll learn from her experiences, and find your way to support a change in culture where we can all be inspired by other women's successes and find opportunities for real personal growth.
